because I totally am, and you don’t come across them that often, and if you do most of the time it was just an act/facade to “get” you in the first place…
but I was contemplating the logic behind “nice guys always finish last”
and I came to my own conclusion… mostly because it’s relevant to me.
it’s because with nice guys, you never really KNOW whether they really like you or not.
like, are they being nice because they don’t want to hurt your feelings and they’re just playing along with your advances and they just don’t want to come off as being a jerk?
nice doesn’t always equate to shy, but a lot of the times the nice guys don’t necessarily lay it all out there either, so I feel like with the nice guys, you’re kind of left in the dark about their real feelings/interests.
at least with the more aggressive guys, you’re pretty sure of their interest, even if their interest is purely of a sexual nature.
I don’t like being left in the dark.
